Operation and chartering of research vessels and platforms

The Abyss operates several small research vessels, open boats and floating platforms for inland waters, coastal areas and offshore. These research vessels are available for charter to researchers and research institutes.

The sailing research vessels "RV Aurora Borealis" and "RV Kassiopeia" go on research cruises at regular intervals; individual stages can be booked by scientists.
